Elder Gavin Root - Wisconsin Milwaukee Misson

  Hey everyone how's it going? Hope your all doing amazing!!  Monday:We had apartment inspections today, so we like deep cleaned our place. They said we had the cleanest apartment byw! Then we also had interviews with president! Had a great member meal with the Stutz!  Tuesday: We had in-person district council. It was super fun! After we went to a chinese buffet and just chatted for a bit! Had another member meal, but with the Moreno's. Wednesday: We met with this guy named Connor who had already been taught all the lessons, he's just struggling with some things. He was excited to meet with us though. I think he's almost ready to be baptized. Played some magic and ate some pizza with this inactive boy named Liam. He's pretty cool. He gave me a box for my magic cards. Thursday: Had a lesson with a chiller named Hunter. We went to Molly and Kenny's house thinking they were gonna feed us dinner, but they must've entirely forgot, so they were like what're y...

Hey yall, hope everyone is staying as warm as I was this week!! Sorry for the long email! Weather Report: My goodness this week was warm. It got up about 47, which is wild cause it was just in the teens. It felt absolutely amazing though!! Definitely made this week a lot better!  Monday: We got to do some service for part of our pday for some elderly couple in our ward. They were so grateful for our help, because it would have taken them many hours to finish the job. We went on a little hike later, and just walked on the frozen Menominee river. It was really fun and peaceful to be out in the woods!  Tuesday: We went ice fishing with a guy named Kubiak, he was super nice. Sadly we didn't catch anything. We invited him to our branch Valentines party, and he actually pulled up. It was pretty cool. I had  exchanges with Elder McEuen (dawg btw). Wednesday: Today was interesting! This week has been so good! I felt the spirit so strongly every day. Especially during zone conference! Monday: Super Chill day! Not much more to say than that.  Tuesday: We had a church tour set up today with 2 parents and 6 kids. We were so excited for this to happen. We had our mpl and everything. They ended having to cancel  . I was so sad. But then Elder Turpin and Peterson got to stay the night at our apartment to travel to zone conference tomorrow. They are super fun!  Wednesday: Zone conference!!! Got up and drove an hour and a half to Neenah WI. The mission president talked about a lot of different things, but one of the things that stuck out to me was to prioritize the current general conference talks (1-3 years). His wife talked about effective weed killers, and flower fertilizers. The weed killers are things that will allow you to overcome temptation. Hello Everyone, hope your all doing amazing. This week was awesome. We found a ton of new friends to start teaching. The work here is going great!! Weather Report: It was cold at the start of the week, but then it got up to like 8 degrees and it started feeling pretty warm. Only a few gentle snow falls. Monday: Pday me and my comp went thrifting. I got myself a new sweater.  Tuesday: Had a district council meeting, and our district leader said that if we got 24 finds this week he would buzz his head. Me and my comp started off strong by getting 2 today. Then we had 2 lessons with our friends Michael and Michael!  Wednesday: We got 1 find today! We played some ball with some inactive members.
