No Subject



Hello Everyone, hope your all doing amazing. This week was awesome. We found a ton of new friends to start teaching. The work here is going great!!


Weather Report: It was cold at the start of the week, but then it got up to like 8 degrees and it started feeling pretty warm. Only a few gentle snow falls.

Monday: Pday me and my comp went thrifting. I got myself a new sweater. 

Tuesday: Had a district council meeting, and our district leader said that if we got 24 finds this week he would buzz his head. Me and my comp started off strong by getting 2 today. Then we had 2 lessons with our friends Michael and Michael! 

Wednesday: We got 1 find today! We played some ball with some inactive members. The people there were absolute try hards. Shout out to Brother Dexen for door dashing taco bell at the end of the night. Much needed! 

Thursday: We had a great lunch with a part member family. We saw both of them at church on Sunday which was great. Did some service at the thrift store. Then we had a dinner with a friend, who sent us home with a crap ton of junk food that me and my comp didn't really want. She's super nice though. Maybe a little too nice. 

Friday: Started off the day with a find. Met with my boy Josh for a bit. He's an interesting fella but I love him. We went to our branch game night and played some games with a bunch of friends and members. I won at Catan again! ðŸ’ª

Saturday: Had a great lesson with our recent convert Alexis. After that, we got our find for the day! We had 4 lessons cancel today. It was pretty sucky.

Sunday: We went over to the Heiners house for dinner. They are awesome members who absolutely love missionaries. It was my new comps first time at their house for dinner, so of course he had to get his nose waxed. Its tradition for all missionaries in their home. I did it to just for the fun of it. After that we went and we were just gonna spectate a massive bingo game and try and get some more finds, but then we saw a guy there we had met and he bought us some bingo cards. My comp ended up winning 12 bucks. ðŸ˜‚ The jackpot was like 2,000 bucks, and our friend got so close to winning. My card was horrible. Later this night we found out that our district hit 24 finds exactly. Our DL is about to have a buzzed head. 

 Spiritual Thought: So I friended this guy on Facebook and we start talking. The next day i see that he is active on Facebook so we called him. Him and I think his girlfriend answer the phone. We had a great conversation with them and got to know them a bit. We eventually found out that his girlfriend is a person who used to be taught by missionaries. It was such a miracle to get back in touch with her. They and there 6 kids were looking for a church to go to, so we set up a time for a church tour. It was so cool to see this all happen. God truly does work in mysterious ways. He is preparing people all the time to hear the messages of Jesus Christ.

But because of the faith of men he has shown himself unto the world, and glorified the name of the Father, and prepared a way that thereby others might be partakers of the heavenly gift, that they might hope for those things which they have not seen.

Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week.  Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers.  Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family.It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.  Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. My comp cooked us a chicken alfredo from scratch which was actually pretty good. Tuesday: Today was just a really chill day. We had 2 lesson that went really good, and we were able to find a new person.  Wednesday: We had zone conference, so we drove about an hour to green bay for that. It was really good! They announced that the North and South Milwaukee zones are now allowed to drive to the Chicago temple for there pday if they want. Im hoping I'll serve over there eventually so I can go for that. Week 3

  Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!  Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap  . Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall . I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.
