Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week. 🙁

Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers. 😂

Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family. It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.

Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. I was happy to see the Cheifs lose.

Friday: We helped serve food at a homeless shelter. Our branch was the one putting it on, so they were extremely grateful that we came and made them a Thanksgiving dinner.

Saturday: We had a 2nd lesson with a lady who we randomly knocked at her door, and she told us that 2 days before we knocked her, she had prayed to God for answers. How crazy is it that what we thought would just be another door knock, would be this awesome miracle. It really shows that God has prepared people for us teach. We had a baptism tonight too. My comp baptized him and it was awesome.

Sunday: I got to do the confirmation for his baptism during sacrament. It was such an awesome experience for me.

Weather Report: It snowed a ton on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. I had to pull out the big coat. I think it got down to 10 degrees. It freezing. And our apartments heater sucks, so it gets pretty cold at night.

Spiritual Thought: Moroni 20:10 "Wherefore, there must be faith; and if there must be faith there must also be hope; and if there must be hope there must also be charity." Me and my comp made a goal on Friday to talk to 8 people everyday. We've only been able to do that 1 time. People here do not answer the doors in the cold, so it's been hard to reach our goal. I know and have faith that God has prepared people for us, and that we will find them when the time is right. We should never give up even in the hardest times. Keep trying your best no matter what.

I hope everyone is doing good!!
