Elder Gavin Root - Wisconsin Milwaukee Misson

Hello Everyone, hope your all staying warm wherever you are. I only say this because I  did not stay warm this week. Weather Report: The entire week we were in the negatives. On Friday it got down to -32, and the worst part is that on that day we had an hour long lesson outside on some guys porch. Every day after that I've been wearing 2 pairs of socks.  Tuesday: P-day was chill. My comp had to pack that day, so we didn't do a whole lot. Wednesday: We went and got out new comps. Elder Torgerson is my new comp and he's a chiller. The first phone call we made together we got a find. That was pretty cool. Thursday: Nothing crazy happened today either. We got another find though. His name is Michael. Today elder Torgerson got assigned the designated driver. I was sad to not drive anymore.  Friday: We found another guy today also named Michael. We bought some ice cream and I had some oreos, so we made some yummy milkshakes. Saturday: We had 6 lessons today, but 3 of them didn...

Hello Everyone, hope all is well! I'm happy to say that I get to stay in Marinette for another transfer, but sadly my companion will be leaving me.  Monday: P-day we played some ball at the rec center, then went to this Burrito place that was recommended to us. It was so good! Tuesday: We had District Council this week, and it went super well. Had 4 lessons after that, and they all went pretty good. Super busy day for us. Wednesday: Today we had 0 lessons,  ut we got to go to the young men's activity. They told us they were playing board games and maybe basketball, but they literally didn't do either of those things.  Thursday: I got stuck in some snow, so we called a recent convert to come and help us get out. It only took like 30 minutes.  Friday: We went over the a members house for lunch, and it was so good. Hello everyone! Things are going great in the Marinette area! Finding lots of new friends to start teaching which is great! The zone leaders called us this week and we were asking some questions about where people might be going for transfers, and he said that me and my comp are most likely getting split up     My prediction is that he's leaving and im staying!  Monday: Had district p-day today! Went bowling and had an exchange with elder Jensen. He's been out a while, so he taught he some cool things. Me and him played 1 in the chamber in the dark with the nerf guns we have.  Tuesday: A member took us to a restaurant called apple jacks, which was super good!  Wednesday: Got my comp back from exchanges and knocked a ton of doors in a place we can't go very often. Got into a small bash with a guy. (We cooked him btw)  Thursday: Did a crap ton of service. Honestly a really good workout though.  Friday: Found a cool guy named Zane! Played some board games...

  Hello everyone, hope you all had a happy new year!  Monday: Did like nothing today because the roads were mad icy. Shoveled some people's drive ways though.  Tuesday: We had a great lesson with a friend who is on date for the 10th. She loves learning about our church, and she has an insanely good memory. She can remember everything we say to her its so cool. Wednesday: New Year's Eve we had to come home at 7 so we didn't run into any crazy people on the streets. We got to watch the movie Witnesses though, which was really good. After that I accidentally hit my comp in the goodies. It was pretty funny. Thursday: The new begins. Our goal as a companionship is to find more people because were kinda running out of friends to teach. There all getting baptized which is great, but we have nobody else to teach after that happens.
