Elder Gavin Root - Wisconsin Milwaukee Misson

  Hey yall, how's it going? Hope you've all had a terrific week! Mine was awesome! It went by very fast too which was nice!  Monday: P-day was chill, did the same thing as everyone other week. Played some basketball, volleyball, and some frisbee golf! Tuesday: Me and my comp have been looking for a couch for our apartment, and we finally found a decent looking one on the side of the road. It didn't really fit in our car, but thankfully we were only about 2 minutes from home. We deep cleaned the couch btw, because we weren't trying to get bed bugs or nothin. Also, we had MLC so I got to meet Elder Brown a day early.  Wednesday: Very chill day today. Only had 1 lesson, so we just did a bunch of finding today!  Thursday: Zone Conference day! Hello everyone, hope your all doing spectacular!! This week has flown by, and I've seen a lot of progress with some of our friends! Monday: Today started off as probably the hottest its been at a whopping 60 degrees! We played some basketball, volleyball, and some pickleball ball. It was such a great pday. Then later that day we see the clouds start rolling in. We check the weather app, and there it is! Tornado watch!!! Me and comp both really wanted to see a tornado, but sadly none touched down in our area. Some other places in Wisconsin got it, but sadly Appleton didn't get one!  Tuesday: We are focused on doing member work this week as a district, so we knocked on a lot of members doors. We had a dinner with the Haupt family. There an older couple, but they spoil us as if we were their grandkids. We went home with a bag full of soda and candy! It was awesome! Hello Everyone, hope your doing amazing!  This week was honestly just a normal feeling week! We found a good amount of people and had a some good lessons with them aswell!  Tuesday was my pday last week, and we just went to the church and played basketball and volleyball like we normally do. We also went to Wendy's, and said the words "Slam Dunk' and they gave us free fries and a frosty.  Wednesday: Did a lot of finding today which is always good! Had dinner with some fun members. Nothing crazy today!  Thursday: Me and my comp found a new park that has a really cool place to skip rocks. We also discovered that there were a ton of crawfish at this place. We quickly went to the dollar store and bought a net and a bucket. It didn't take us long to catch about 12 of them. Then we were invited to a Lutheran study, and it was kinda hard to listen to some of the things they said, but it was a class and we wanted to be respectful.   Hello, hope your all doing well! This week, was a pretty chill week! Nothing to crazy happened! My comp has been decently sick this week, which kinds sucks, but we did what we could. Monday: Was super chill, we played some Frisbee golf, and then some basketball. Tuesday: Some members took us to cousins sub, which is a sandwich place that was pretty good! Then we played some volleyball with the hmong elders and some of their friends.  Wednesday: We had interviews with President today and they went really good! Went to Tom's for lunch, it was good, but its just a ripoff of McDonald's. Helped some members move and assemble a new couch they got. They they fed us to pay us back Thursday: We chill finding day! Not much to say about this day!  Friday: We did our weekly service at a homeless shelter. Then we had ZLC, which was pretty good! Had a good Friday devotional in our stake.
