Tornado Watch 🌪



Hello everyone, hope your all doing spectacular!! This week has flown by, and I've seen a lot of progress with some of our friends!


Monday: Today started off as probably the hottest its been at a whopping 60 degrees! We played some basketball, volleyball, and some pickleball ball. It was such a great pday. Then later that day we see the clouds start rolling in. We check the weather app, and there it is! Tornado watch!!! Me and comp both really wanted to see a tornado, but sadly none touched down in our area. Some other places in Wisconsin got it, but sadly Appleton didn't get one! 

Tuesday: We are focused on doing member work this week as a district, so we knocked on a lot of members doors. We had a dinner with the Haupt family. There an older couple, but they spoil us as if we were their grandkids. We went home with a bag full of soda and candy! It was awesome! Then we did some service for an inactive family. 

Wednesday: Ran an exchange with the goat elder Pappenhiem! He's the zone leaders, but he used to be my district leader in my last area. We had a lot of fun, and even found some people. Had a great meal at some members house! It was national banana day, and so we had banana splits for dinner. 

Thursday: Chill day! Me and my comp like to fish, so if we ever have a little free time, we throw some bait in the water. We actually caught a decently sized pike. It was so cool! Then we found a cool lady named Julie. 

Friday: We met with this inactive member today, and his no member wife. We found his wife, and they are both gonna start coming to church again. Then we met with Jane and Donnie, 2 of our friends who are on date!

Saturday: We were very busy today. Had 6 lessons, with barely anytime in between! One of our lessons was with an inactive family who has a 9 year old son who wants to be baptized. Hopefully we can get them coming back to church aswell! A member named Sunde bought us a buffet of panda express. It was a dream come true. She is a single lady, and she feeds us atleast once a week! She's the best! 

Sunday: We only had one friend pull up to church this week! Kinda sad. Had some delicious tacos at a members house. Then we had some lessons. 

Spiritual Thought: I recently finished the Book of Mormon again, and I kinda forgot how hard Moronis life was at the end. He was a very strong and faithful man, and reading his story made me want to gain the same kind of faith that he had! Only as we strive to do our best, can we have that kind of faith! 

Weather Report: Absolutely buns all week. It was pretty cold, rained a ton, and the thunderstorms were crazy!
