Put em on date
Hey Everyone!! Its been a great week with lots of finding happening. We put a few people on date this week, and were getting them all ready to go!
Weather Report: Besides the massive snow snow it's been pretty decent weather. Mostly in the high 30's low 40's.
Monday: We thought we would be snowed in today, but we somehow got out of out parking lot and to the church building to play some basketball. We helped a total of 4 cars get out of the snow. It was so fun to help these people out!
Tuesday: Today we did a lot of service. We helped a new family move into there house, and then an older lady move some furniture. We helped her clean up her house little bit too.
Wednesday: Zone Conference today. It was really good. They did a jello slurping contest with the entire zone and I took second place. I also learned a lot about relying on the spirit and why it's so important. They also talked about how our words matter, and they reflect back on the church when missionaries say outta pocket things. So just be careful what you say! Went on an exchange with the ZL Elder Sperry. We had a good time. Our mission president also encouraged us to put people on date more often, so they can see what they are working towards.
Thursday: We found an Indian dude named Haresh. He is newer to the area and was kinda looking for a church. We gave him a tour of our church and he loved it. We talked about thr Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the first steps we take. We ended up putting him on date. Pray for Haresh. Met with our other friends Jane and Donnie. They are super awesome too. We actually put them on date for a week earlier than Haresh. We gonna be busy in April!
Friday: Very chill day! Did some service at a Homeless shelter. They bring in donuts every week at the exact time we are working so we get free donuts. Its so cool! Spend the rest of the day having lessons and finding the people God had prepared for us!
Saturday: I love Saturdays here because church confirming is a lot more fun when you actually have lots of people to invite and see if they are coming. Our ward also had an Easter brunch today. I had some banger cinnamon rolls!
Sunday: Had a great church service, and we had 5 news friends at church. Some younger kids did a trombone and trumpet duet that actually sounded insanely good!
Did some studying at the library and then had a pretty normal rest of the day!
Spiritual Thought: Alma 46:39
"And it came to pass that there were many who died, firmly believing that their souls were redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ; thus they went out of the world rejoicing." I was reading this and thinking how important it is to endure to the end, and stay faithful to Jesus Christ. I encourage you all to remain faithful and remember the times you have felt His love for you!
