Week 3
Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!
Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap
.
.Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall
. I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.

All the people we've taught so far are pretty cool, but there also all tweakers, but im glad there choosing to follow Jesus.
Friday:Halloween
We had to come back to our apartment early because of Halloween and all the crazy people. We went to go find where someone lived before we had to go home, but it was dark and they lived down a sketchy alley so we decided to just go home for the night. Also we watched Escape from Germany with our whole mission that night over zoom!

I was so dead after that. Thankfully he gave up Subway gift cards so it was worth it.
Sunday: I got to pass the sacrament at church, which I hadn't done in forever but it was cool. We went to a members house for dinner. The Heiners made some really good lasagna. If was the best food I've had since I left home. Sister Heiner is literally the exact same person as my aunt Carli, except she has a strong British accent. Its so funny to listen to her. Here's the weird part of this story. At the end of dinner, they told me they have a tradition that they do to all the new missionaries that eat dinner at there house. The dad brings out this nose waxing kit
and at first I thought they were pranking me, but then I found out they were serious. I was terrified. My comp had already done it and said it didn't hurt that bad, but I didn't trust him. The worst part was knowing I couldn't leave there house without doing it. Sister Heiner literally said that to me. After watching brother and sister Heiner do it, it was finally my turn. If you wanna see the video. Join my photos and watch it.
