Transfer News


 

Hello, hope your all doing well! This week, was a pretty chill week! Nothing to crazy happened! My comp has been decently sick this week, which kinds sucks, but we did what we could.


Monday: Was super chill, we played some Frisbee golf, and then some basketball.

Tuesday: Some members took us to cousins sub, which is a sandwich place that was pretty good! Then we played some volleyball with the hmong elders and some of their friends. 

Wednesday: We had interviews with President today and they went really good! Went to Tom's for lunch, it was good, but its just a ripoff of McDonald's. Helped some members move and assemble a new couch they got. They they fed us to pay us back😂

Thursday: We chill finding day! Not much to say about this day! 

Friday: We did our weekly service at a homeless shelter. Then we had ZLC, which was pretty good! Had a good Friday devotional in our stake. Lots of good musical numbers.


Saturday: Today was very chill. We went to the church with the Swahili elders and watched general conference in the family history center on a little computer. That was basically our day!

Sunday: Pretty much the same as yesterday, until the last session, where we went to some members house to watch it there, and then they fed us a delicious dinner! 

Monday: Very chill day! Had District Council, and got some lunch. Did a bunch of finding basically the rest of the day! Then we went to Qdoba to have one last meal with elder Rasmussen since he's going home! Had transfers last night, and whem i opened the email I was expecting to stay in Appleton, but I didn't see my name in the Appleton spot, so I thought I was being transferred somewhere. I then realized my name wasn't even on the list and that they messes up and put some other name twice on accident. So basically I'm still staying in Appleton with my comp.

Weather Report: The weather was so weird this week. We had 2 pretty big hail storms. And then lots of rain. But the rain was like every other day. The off days, it was warm and sunny, the next day would be freezing and raining. 

Spiritual Thought: I very much did general conference, but I do want to just focus this on church! In ZLC, they talked about wanting to get the church attendance up, so we've been trying to invite people to church in every conversation we have. Im hoping that this week, we will have a very high church attendance, but i know it's entirely there choice! Going to church is one of my favorite things to do each week, because of the spirit that I feel when I am there. I told a that to a lady named Anna in Walmart and she was actually really interested. We invited her to church on Sunday, and she said she would gladly come check it pur. It turns out she also has some kids that are looking for churches to go to aswell. There are miracles that come when we invite!

Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week.  Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers.  Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family.It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.  Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. My comp cooked us a chicken alfredo from scratch which was actually pretty good. Tuesday: Today was just a really chill day. We had 2 lesson that went really good, and we were able to find a new person.  Wednesday: We had zone conference, so we drove about an hour to green bay for that. It was really good! They announced that the North and South Milwaukee zones are now allowed to drive to the Chicago temple for there pday if they want. Im hoping I'll serve over there eventually so I can go for that. Week 3

  Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!  Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap  . Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall . I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.
