Zone Conference





This week has been so good! I felt the spirit so strongly every day. Especially during zone conference!


Monday: Super Chill day! Not much more to say than that. 

Tuesday: We had a church tour set up today with 2 parents and 6 kids. We were so excited for this to happen. We had our mpl and everything. They ended having to cancel ðŸ˜ž. I was so sad. But then Elder Turpin and Peterson got to stay the night at our apartment to travel to zone conference tomorrow. They are super fun! 

Wednesday: Zone conference!!! Got up and drove an hour and a half to Neenah WI. The mission president talked about a lot of different things, but one of the things that stuck out to me was to prioritize the current general conference talks (1-3 years). His wife talked about effective weed killers, and flower fertilizers. The weed killers are things that will allow you to overcome temptation. Some of those things are attending the temple, and reading your scriptures. The flower fertilizers, are things that will keep you from being tempted. The more yoy feed yourself with good things, the less likely you are to be tempted. I love being able to see all my friends I've met at zone conference. I got to see sister Svedin too which was fun. Then our district went to panda, and boy was I hype for that. 

Thursday: We had a great meal with some members today, and I could really feel the spirit in there home as we shared a message with them. They made us Cafe Rio, and it was delicious!! 

Friday: We helped some guy move furniture up some really steep stairs and into his house. My fingers were so numb, but they are okay now. I did have gloves btw, I just didn't wanna drop the furniture. Then we had a very small turnout for the game night that our members put on. It was still pretty fun. 

Saturday: Went to a sandwich place called cousin's subs. It was mid, subway is better. Then we got to watch some of our members do a polar plunge! It was so funny. Him and his son were wearing the Lorax costumes. Then later that night, we had another delicious meal with our branch president and his wife. I very good spirit there too!

Sunday: We had both of our lessons cancel today, so we had lots of time to find some people. We them realized that it might be a little difficult to find people today with the super bowl happening tonight! That ended up being true, because nobody was responding to us. We did find one guy though and he seemed pretty cool! 

Weather Report: This week has surprisingly been really warm. It got up to like 20 and it felt like summer. Next week is supposed to be even warmer. 

Spiritual Thought: Moroni 7:33, "Christ hath said: If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me."  Have faith people. That's all I can say!

Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week.  Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers.  Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family.It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.  Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. My comp cooked us a chicken alfredo from scratch which was actually pretty good. Tuesday: Today was just a really chill day. We had 2 lesson that went really good, and we were able to find a new person.  Wednesday: We had zone conference, so we drove about an hour to green bay for that. It was really good! They announced that the North and South Milwaukee zones are now allowed to drive to the Chicago temple for there pday if they want. Im hoping I'll serve over there eventually so I can go for that. Week 3

  Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!  Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap  . Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall . I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.
