God's Timing 🕒

 




Hey everyone how's it going? Hope your all doing amazing!! 


Monday:We had apartment inspections today, so we like deep cleaned our place. They said we had the cleanest apartment byw! Then we also had interviews with president! Had a great member meal with the Stutz! 

Tuesday: We had in-person district council. It was super fun! After we went to a chinese buffet and just chatted for a bit! Had another member meal, but with the Moreno's.

Wednesday: We met with this guy named Connor who had already been taught all the lessons, he's just struggling with some things. He was excited to meet with us though. I think he's almost ready to be baptized. Played some magic and ate some pizza with this inactive boy named Liam. He's pretty cool. He gave me a box for my magic cards.

Thursday: Had a lesson with a chiller named Hunter. We went to Molly and Kenny's house thinking they were gonna feed us dinner, but they must've entirely forgot, so they were like what're you guys doing here. We ended up just teaching them about the gospel that day! Had a lesson after that with a lady named Patricia. She really wants to be baptized, but she needs to get over some things first. So keep her in your prayers! 

Friday: Talked with a guy named Dewy, and gave him a Book of Mormon! We had another member meal with sister Barnes and her boyfriend. They made a venison roast that smelt so good, but then tasted not that good sadly. Right after that the Abreu's took us to the Chinese buffet again. It never gets old! Played some more magic with Liam, and with Elliott! 

Saturday: All of our lessons got canceled for this day which was so lame. We were in McDonald's doing some calls, and this preacher dude comes in and starts preaching to everyone in there. After he finished his speech we talked with for a bit about his beliefs. He told us he thinks we were the reason he was here today! I totally agreed because we gave his a book of mormon and hopefully he reads it. He wanted to say a prayer, so we standed in a circle in the middle of McDonald's, and put our hands on each other's shoulders. Bro started like screaming in his prayer and it was kinda funny. Used some interesting words in his prayer. Its okay though because me and my comp also got to say a little prayer in this circle ðŸ˜‚

Sunday: We were at Walmart in the evening, and i went up to this guy asking if he wanted to hear a scripture about jesus. He said why not. I started sharing some information about the Book of Mormon and we seemed to just be ignoring us. That's what we thought at first, but about halfway through me reading the scripture he started crying. We asked if everything was okay, and he said he just lost his job and his wife. He was definitely going through a hard time, but we got his number real quick. He said he wants to build a relationship with Jesus Christ. He had to go, but he was definitely the reason we were in Walmart at that time.

Spiritual Thought: God's timing is an important thing to know about. For example, if that guy didn't loose his job and his wife, he probably wouldn't have said yes to the scripture. We could tell his heart was softened a bit. He agreed to the scripture though because it was God's time for him to start growing his relationship with his son Jesus Christ. If you are waiting for something, just remember that it will come when God needs it to come! 

Weather Report: It got cold again. And snowed a decent amount. I just want it to be warm.

Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week.  Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers.  Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family.It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.  Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. My comp cooked us a chicken alfredo from scratch which was actually pretty good. Tuesday: Today was just a really chill day. We had 2 lesson that went really good, and we were able to find a new person.  Wednesday: We had zone conference, so we drove about an hour to green bay for that. It was really good! They announced that the North and South Milwaukee zones are now allowed to drive to the Chicago temple for there pday if they want. Im hoping I'll serve over there eventually so I can go for that. Week 3

  Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!  Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap  . Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall . I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.
