Warmer Weather



Hey yall, hope everyone is staying as warm as I was this week!! Sorry for the long email!

Weather Report: My goodness this week was warm. It got up about 47, which is wild cause it was just in the teens. It felt absolutely amazing though!! Definitely made this week a lot better! 

Monday: We got to do some service for part of our pday for some elderly couple in our ward. They were so grateful for our help, because it would have taken them many hours to finish the job. We went on a little hike later, and just walked on the frozen Menominee river. It was really fun and peaceful to be out in the woods! 

Tuesday: We went ice fishing with a guy named Kubiak, he was super nice. Sadly we didn't catch anything. We invited him to our branch Valentines party, and he actually pulled up. It was pretty cool. I had  exchanges with Elder McEuen (dawg btw).

Wednesday: Today was interesting! A little background, we met this guy named Lance and he seemed pretty chill the first time we met up. You could tell something was up with him, but we weren't really sure. Me and Elder McEuen went to his house to meet with him again, and he told us before hand that his house was the house from the conjuring 2 movie. Idk about Elder McEuen, but I was kinda terrified to go in that house. We did though and it seemed pretty normal to us. Lance did not think so. He told us some wack things that he's seen in this house. I honestly thought this homie was possessed at one point. He also claimed to be Jesus Christ ðŸ¤·‍♂️  We said a prayer with him then left. Later that night we got bashed by a dude at Walmart. He had no clue what he was talking about. 

Thursday: Got my comp back! Then went and moved some wood for an inactive member. Her and her husband are pretty cool and they also came to our branches Valentines party. 

Friday: Chill day. Me and Elder Torgerson made my famous chocolate chip cookies for our branch Valentines party. We got 3rd place in the contest, but it wasn't fair cause the little kids judged them and half of them only tried like 5 of the 10 cookies! 

Saturday: We met with an absolute dawg named Will today! The first like 10 minutes he blasted holy music and we just praised God for a bit. Then he basically preached to us from the new testament the whole time. We jumped in when we could, but it was kinda hard to. Found a cool guy named Hunter today! Hopefully he comes to church! 

Sunday: Well Hunter did not come to church ðŸ˜¢. Its okay though cause we have another guy named Conner pull up and he's super cool too.We had a chill member meal with recent convert Doug!!

Spiritual Thought: 2 Nephi 10:23: "Therefore, cheer up your hearts, and remember that ye are free to act for yourselves—to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life." We have all been gifted the amazing gift of agency, and I promise that as you use this gift righteously, you will be able to see more joy in your life, and see that the good things you do will also bless the lives of those you help!!

Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week.  Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers.  Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family.It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.  Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. My comp cooked us a chicken alfredo from scratch which was actually pretty good. Tuesday: Today was just a really chill day. We had 2 lesson that went really good, and we were able to find a new person.  Wednesday: We had zone conference, so we drove about an hour to green bay for that. It was really good! They announced that the North and South Milwaukee zones are now allowed to drive to the Chicago temple for there pday if they want. Im hoping I'll serve over there eventually so I can go for that. Week 3

  Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!  Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap  . Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall . I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.
