Summer Snowfall and Tequila

 


Hello everyone, hope your week has been super! it was an awesome week in Appleton area!!  I forgot last week to say this, but shout out to Ali and Jack for taking me and the other elders to breakfast, and shout out to uncle Chris and aunt Debi for paying! 

Speaking of uncles......... IM GONNA BE AN UNCLE!!!!!!!! Congratulations to Kyton🫃 and Taylor 🤰 for having the soon to be Gavin Jr, and if its a girl, then Gavina will do! 

Other big news, we put our friend Abagail on date 🌊 She is so awesome, and so prepared for this next step in her life! 

Friday I went on an exchange with the ZL Elder Pappenhiem who was on of my DL's back in Marinette. We were knocking this inactive member in his area, and it was a little Hispanic family having a birthday party for there daughter! They invited us in and fed us this sopping wet pork chorizo. It was drenched in some sauce that Elder Pap thought had tequila in it! He said he heard the lady say that tequila was one of the ingredients in the sauce, but I had no clue until after we left the house! Me and Pap didn't feel super great after we left, so there definitely could have been a little in there! It was very good food though if Im being honest. Plus they gave us some Mexican candy when we left and it was so good! 

Weather Report: There wasn't actual snow, but there has been so much cottonwood falling and it literally covers the grass in some parts! Its so crazy!

Spiritual Thought: Mosiah 3:20 
"And moreover, I say unto you, that the time shall come when the knowledge of a Savior shall spread throughout every nation, kindred, tongue, and people." I love being a missionary so much and Im glad I get to be apart of the spreading of the knowledge of our Savior. It feels so good to bring people closer to Him!

Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week.  Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers.  Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family.It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.  Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. This week has been so fun!!                     Join the Photos!! https://photos.app.goo.gl/ FqUxDs1gJEASweLy7 Monday: We went shopping at ross and me and my comp found a sick green bay hoodie that we both had to buy. My comp cooked us a chicken alfredo from scratch which was actually pretty good. Tuesday: Today was just a really chill day. We had 2 lesson that went really good, and we were able to find a new person.  Wednesday: We had zone conference, so we drove about an hour to green bay for that. It was really good! They announced that the North and South Milwaukee zones are now allowed to drive to the Chicago temple for there pday if they want. Im hoping I'll serve over there eventually so I can go for that. Week 3

  Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!  Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap  . Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall . I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.
