Mothers Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there, and epecially to my mom! She has been the best christ-like example to me, and im so thankful for everything she has every done for me! Love you mom!

Also, birthday shout out to my dad, and Lyla! Love you guys!

Monday: Super Chill day! Played an 18 hole disc golf course! Played some basketball then got chick fila a after! Nothing new!

Tuesday: Had a good district council! We took a service missionary with us today to do some finding! Found a couple people which was chill! Helped an inactive member cook and clean her dishes!

Wednesday: When found this super cool guy named Lee today, who has like no understanding of Jesus and God! Hopefully this guy pulls through with his commitments! A couple weeks ago we were invited to a penecostal church, so we decided to pull up today to there service. They almost immediately were onto us, and kicked us out. It was super weird!

Thursday: Met with our friend Harry this morning, and he is progressing really well! Met with this girl ned Julie, and she was cleaning her garage when we got there and helped her out. She had a golf bag with clubs and balls that she didn't want anymore, so I took them off her hands! Had Little Ceasars for lunch with some members! (Its not as good in Wisconsin for some reason) Our friend Harry pulled up to basketball and he balled out!

Friday: Pretty chill day! Did our weekly service at the homeless shelter! Had some missionary meetings. Then met with our boy Donnie to end the night!

Saturday: Our friend Bret got baptized!! It was so awesome to see him get dunked! I got to give one of the talks at his baptism too which was fun! Also we found a lamanite today!

Sunday: Sadly we had zero friends come to church! It was still a good service though because all the 4 missionaries got to speak! After church, we had lunch at a members house, did some finding, then had a taco buffet at another members house! It was so awesome!

Spiritual Thought: This week i was reading in mosiah and found a scripture I think would be good for mother's day!

Mosiah 4:15, "But ye will teach them to walk in the ways of truth and soberness; ye will teach them to love one another, and to serve one another." When I read this i thought of my mom, because she has does such a great job teaching me all these things. Im so grateful for the example she has been to me my entire life! Looking back i wish I took more time to serve my mom, because she has done so much for me! So to all you young ones, do something nice for your mom today! (Even though mothers day was yesterday)
