Winter Storm Warning ⚠️
Monday: We had zone pday, and ir was just awesome. All the missionaries from around Appleton got together and played kickball, volleyball, gagaball, and the best part is that some kids brought some lacrosse sticks, so I got to mess around with those too!
Tuesday: Had district council and it was pretty good. Then ate some lamb at a members house. It was mid honestly. Played some more volleyball for a church activity.
Wednesday: We had an exchange with the AP'S, so I got to go to Milwaukee! I went with Elder shirts. It was so pretty down there. It was a crazy day for sure because we didn't get dinner until 8 that night, and I didn't get lunch either.
Thursday: Exchanged back with my comp. Super Chill day. Had some good lessons, then ended the day playing basketball with some of our friends!
Friday: Did another exchange with the Swahili elders. I went with Elder Hart. He came out thr same time as me. He's a dawg! We went crazy and found 5 people today. This is the day that we got the Winter Storm Warning. They estimated 17-14 inches between Sunday through Monday evening.
Saturday: It was just a weird day because we were in service clothes basically all day. We helped some people move out of the house and Into their new house. Had lunch with a member at Taste of the Windy City. It tasted delicious btw. Then helped some other lady clean her house and move some furniture. We did such a good job that she wanted us to also help her neighbor with the same thing.
Sunday: We get the news that church is canceled, so we have to text all our friends that were planning on coming that it was canceled. Sunday Mormon honestly wasn't that bad, and they probably didn't need to cancel it, but I woke up today and there is probably over 2 feet of snow outside right now and it is still coming down.
Spiritual Thought: Alma 32:21
"And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true."
This is a scripture i shared a lot with people this week because some of there definitions of faith were a bit interesting. Having faith is something that matters, especially on a mission. It's not just faith, it's faith in Jesus Christ. Ive seen times when I have faith and when I don't. I notice that when I do have faith in Jesus Christ I receive more blessings and opportunities to talk to people. So have faith in Jesus Christ!
Weather Report: It was pretty cold this week except for on zone pday. It hit 48 which was so cool! After that day though it was freezing. It is currently blizzarding and we probably won't go anywhere today😭Looks like im not doing laundry today.
