Appleton

 



Hello everyone! This week, I started the new transfer in Appleton. This place honestly looks a lot like Caldwell, and it's kinda trippy! My new comp Elder Dushku, is pretty cool. He is very smart, and knows a lot of the super deep stuff. I've noticed that comes in handy here, because people bash us just about everyday. 

Weather Report: It's been getting up to the 50's, so it's been super nice. A little bit of rain, but i like the rain! 

Wednesday: Went to Neenah to get my new comp. First thing we did was hit up Sam's Club and get some pizza. Later that day, we went to a Lutheran church service. It was super interesting.

Thursday: We have a friend getting baptized named Monica, who passed her interview today, so that was hype. Played some basketball with the ZL's amd their ward. 

Friday: We met this lady named Amanda, and she like really wants to be baptized. It was so random, but so awesome at the same time! 

Sarurday: Just did a ton of finding today.

Sunday: I got to meet a lot of the ward that I'm serving in now. They are all super cool. We had a lesson with this guy who was super nice, but also bashy. We cooked him btw! 

Spiritual Thought: John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." It can be hard to go to a new area with new people, but i can always feel a sense of peace knowing that this is where I need to be, to learn from these people, and to help teach them about Jesus Christ!!

Week 9 beacuase apparently I skipped a week

Monday: We went to a rec center to play some basketball. Then after we decided we wanted to do some sprints. Right before we started, this huge group of little kids came into the gym and were told by their teacher to sit silently against the wall. So all the little kids were just starring at us, so we decided not to do sprints anymore. Maybe next week.  Tuesday: Nothing crazy today. Went to Culvers.  Wednesday: We had a Thanksgiving dinner with a family.It was super good. The family is on date for baptism so that's good.  Thursday: Thanksgiving!!! It was a super chill day. Had one lesson with a member then we went to a members house for dinner. I was a little sad to find out that they had 2 huge huskies, which means they had dog hair all over there house. It was insane. That wasn't even the worst part. The hair was all over in the food too. It was horrible. One good thing was that we got to watch the last half of the Cowboys vs Cheifs game. My comp cooked us a chicken alfredo from scratch which was actually pretty good. Tuesday: Today was just a really chill day. We had 2 lesson that went really good, and we were able to find a new person.  Wednesday: We had zone conference, so we drove about an hour to green bay for that. It was really good! They announced that the North and South Milwaukee zones are now allowed to drive to the Chicago temple for there pday if they want. Im hoping I'll serve over there eventually so I can go for that. Week 3

  Hello everyone!!! It's been an awesome week!  Tuesday: I woke up at 3:30, and headed to the airport. It took 2 flights to get to Milwaukee. Right before me and my MTC comp got on our 2nd flight, we talked to this lady and ended up giving our first Book of Mormon away. It was pretty cool! Also, apparently you can't have liquid in your carry on, so I had to throw away pretty much all of my soap  . Wednesday: I met my new companion, his name is Elder Rupert. He's pretty cool, and he's a hard worker which is good. If your wondering what he looks like, just picture Elder Marshall . I found out my first area too. I'm currently in Marinette Wisconsin. I'm like right on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, so im constantly going to both states. Also my companion can't drive, so I've had to drive, and boy this place is weird is with its stop lights. I've took so many wrong turns too. Its horrible.
