1st Transfer Down

Transfers: My p-day was moved to today because of transfers. Thankfully both me and my comp are still gonna be staying in Marinette. Im glad im staying because this place is so awesome!!

Monday: We went to the rec center and did some sports and ran on the track. It was a good workout.

Tuesday: We had district council and the spirit was very strong as everyone shared there testimonies. Then we got subway after. One of our friends wanted to hangout with us. Apparently here hangout means help them clean out there entire camper. It was very not clean in there.

Wednesday: We went and shoveled this lady's drive way and then she invited us in to meet with her and her son. The son tried to give us these really cool knifes, but we couldn't take them unfortunately. We were there during lunch time so she cooked us some chicken and vegetables. While she was cooking it, she left it unattended for long enough for it to start smoking and me and my comp noticed and went over to turn off the stove. She was still in the other room so we didn't really know what to do after. It was still super hot and it caught on fire. It was wild. It was so smokey in the house for the rest of the time we were there. No body was hurt thankfully.

Thursday: Me and my comp did an open mic thing at a coffee shop. We talk about the birth of Christ. A lot of people came up to us after and talked to us. Nobody was interested enough though.

Friday: If you wanna know what non alcoholic beer tastes like, watch the video in my photos.

Saturday: We put a lady on date for baptism. She is so awesome and the only question she asked that she was worried about was how long will she be held under water? She was fine after we said it was only for like 1 second.

Sunday: I got to ordain a guy who just got baptismed to a priest. It was really cool.

Weather Report: It snowed pretty hard one day and the roads were very icy. It's just been sitting around 15 degrees. The feels like did touch -2 this week though. Not cool.

Spiritual Thought: This week we had a guy pull up to our branch FHE. He told us his story of why he was there. He said I had prayed to God for help. Just a few hours later missionaries came knocking on my door, and they hadn't came in like 5 months. He was amazed but also wondered how they possibly could have came right after his prayer. The FHE lesson was on prayer also, so that couldn't have been better. I was so excited when he told us this. We are now meeting with him and hopefully he can progress. This story shows that God really does answer and hear all of our prayers.
